[Sharing /User Voice] Application of Earliest DS202 Trials to Auto Maintenance

     First of all, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the forum for giving me such a nice gift when DSO202 samples are launched. I’m a specialist in auto maintenance. So it is essential for me to be expect at using oscilloscopes. When the DS203 was launched, I intended to buy one. But the product adopts physical buttons, which are not user-friendly. So I didn’t buy it. Instead, I keep using the earlier product- the Redbox MT3500 Special-purpose Oscilloscope.

    I got the gift on 2nd of Oct. from SF Express. After I unpacked the package, I found the trial version of DS202 was exquisite. The only flaw, I think, is the crooked and cocked rims. But it doesn’t matter. It won’t affect the functions. Following the instructions in the QQ group on DS202 trials step by step, I learned how to use it. It’s pretty handy. I tried to WAVE OUT the wave forms. They were distinctively visible in high resolution. It’s awesome. Soon I excitedly measured the wave forms from the automobile sensor of a Suzuki Swift owned by the company I worked for, only to find I was far from being familiar with DS202. I used to use the special-purpose oscilloscope which could measure the wave forms directly. Now, I need to manually adjust the perimeters in a 202. So when I first got the 202, I met many problems such as improper adjustment of the horizontal and vertical time base leading to failure or fault in wave-form display. Despite these problems, I would like to thank WOLF-head of DS202 QQ group, YE Hui-senior technician for BMW maintenance from the expect panel of the magazine-Auto Maintenance Technicians, and ZHU Di-owner of the online store on Taobao-itfans.taobao.com for their kind guidance and instruction.
   
Now let me share with you the strengths and weaknesses of the DS202 sample by analyzing the some wave forms I measured from the auto sensors, actuators, electric parts, the CAN-BUS and the LIN-BUS.

    It would be much appreciated if you could shed some light on my problem. A few days ago, my GL8 broke down with the ABS light on. The fault code showed that something was wrong with the right front wheel velocity sensor. But when I tried to measure wave forms for the left front wheel velocity sensor with the AC coupling, they failed to display. FYI: the sensor of this car is integrated with the bearing.
